What Makes the Citroën C5 X Low-Rider Crossover Design Appeal to Young Users
Industry News

How is the exterior of the Citroën C5 X?

The exterior design of the 2024 Citroën C5 X blends a low-slung crossover style with French elegance, creating a highly recognizable visual language. The overall shape combines the smoothness of a sedan with the ruggedness of an SUV, aligning with mainstream aesthetic trends.

At the front, the vehicle adopts a flattened design language. The double chevron logo is connected to the split headlights via refined chrome trim, enhancing the horizontal visual width. LED lighting is standard across all trims, featuring automatic headlights, adaptive high/low beams, and delayed-off function. The Yaobufan series adds LED front fog lights and cornering assist lamps, improving lighting safety at night and in complex driving conditions. The new "Midnight Blue" exclusive paint shows a deep metallic texture under different lighting, further enhancing the model's modern appeal.

On the side, the low roofline and flowing waistline together create a coupe-like silhouette, complemented by 18-inch wheels (on higher trims) to reinforce the sporty character. The rear design features clean, layered lines, with a dual-element spoiler that provides both aerodynamic function and visual drama. The taillights are darkened and use LED light strips, offering excellent nighttime recognition. An opening panoramic sunroof is standard, enhancing the sense of openness inside the cabin.

The vehicle measures 4,805 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,785 mm – balancing practicality and dynamic proportions. Rather than chasing exaggerated elements, the overall design achieves a balance of premium feel and individuality through restrained detailing and layered material quality.
